Long Brief bout Cik Wan Lectures

Production model

==Intention--Act==Rule--Actor==Site--Product==

To begin any act or production, we should hav an intention at 1st.





The INTENTION is

the essence of wat we desire,
wat we wan to do,
how we gonna to do,
wat we wan to achieve.


A good intention,
comes wif infomation tat we hav,
comes wif knowledge tat we hav;
without a gd intention,
or
without an inovative intention,
a gd product never come out.

Look for nothing,
we muz SEE;
Hear for nothing,
We muz LISTEN;
Know for nothing,
We muz understand,
and differentiate.


Nex,
while we hav an intention,
we may started to make it real.
this may b ACT.









ACT is a doing on wat we intented.
Acts in the built environment involve
perceiving,
designing,
negotiating,
modelling,
constructing,
finishing,
inhabiting,
using,
spoiling,
demilishing,
recycling,
and so on.


All these doing can be done but
sometimes cant juz folo watever we wan,
which may hurt others or
hurt environment.
Here comes the RULE.



Rules determine what is right and what is wrong to do,
law by law while apply act,

black and white while apply act,
it shudn't b hard,
it used to protect us,
protect environment,
protect...


To perform act,
there wil b people in charge of,
they are the ACTOR.





For example,
to build a house,
many actors involved,
such as:
planner,
architect,
quantity surveyor,
constructor,
bla bla bla...


A house muz hv a space to stand on,
as well as we stand,
tat is SITE,



Which on earth.
(Not at Mars)
A comfortable site,
A beautiful site,
A peace site,
may affect the desire of ppl to buy the house.
Therefore,
A suitable and sustainable site shud b chosen.


Here all ready and works get started,

a PRODUCT comes out.

are not too difficult to be understood,

those connect all the nodes,

may assume it as walkway.

A product may also be an illusion,

as long as

we come out something

inovative,

attractive.

which the actors is clean,
wise mentally,
healthy physically,

those actors may include

shud continuously cleansing.

Shud go by book.

Well,
not the end of the world actually,
juz wanna grab attention...
suddenly felt bored,
and dono wat title shud b put,
The end of the world shudn't b memorable rite?
It shud b a nightmare,
It's everyone's nightmare.

Why 22 oct 2008 so memorable to me?
Bcuz,
today is..
today is not my birthday.
Pardon.. Oops,
It is not the prob of my birthday..

today is the deadline,

but...
is the deadline for us,
to do anything to our blog..

No Dome is not No Dome actually...

Although we had made a "no dome",

at least we had made a try to make our product,
at least we had enjoyed the process of making the "no dome",
at least we had knew each other more thru dis project,
at least we had "press our brain juice" on how to make a dome fr da beginning,
at least...


We had made a meeting wif cik wan,
at 25 sept,
tat day was my dear best fren's birthday,
i slept quite "early" in da "morning,
after called my dear fren at 0000 to gif a wish,
Happy Birthday and bla bla bla~

Wow,
woke up in the same morning too after few hrs,
a whole group of us came to meet cik wan,
our member yang zheng is absent due to fell sick,
therefore it juz 4 of us were coming.

Wat shud we do wif da "no dome"?

Umm..
Do a new dome?

Arg..
There is no matter wif produce another dome..

Den..
Pardon, wat's the matter???

Well,
Making another blog to explain wat's gone wrong,
wud better than making a new one without knowing our mistake.

Yeah!
Learn fr our mistake,
tat's da basic...
We stand up fr the place where we fall down,
juz like a saying fr chinese:
“在哪里跌倒，就从哪里爬起来”

Last but not least,
via the meeting wif cik wan,
which held at a open space,
we know where we had gone wrong,
we know wat we shud do now,
we know how to make sure the product we done is ok.

By having a good intention,
following the right way,
to manipulate the act,
we,
can produce a good product,
and,
many and many good products.

Specially thanks my group members who thanked me,
I felt shocked when u all thanked me since i had lead u all to da wrong way,
thanks for not blaming me due to da misproduction,
thanks for willing spend time together to find a solution to save our marks,
since there will be low mark due to our misproduction.

We have done a blog to state out our mistake on the process of making dome, which had make our dome not geodesic.

Proposed Dome's Plan View

This is the mini dome we made before we make the real dome.

Pre Dome's Day

First day prefabrication we decided to do at outside "bengkel kayu". This is because there is a big space which enable us to cut dried reeds and tie them up.

That day was weekend, workshop was closed, so nobody was around there except those hardworking students like us. Haha... Just kidding.. The whole day we used to measure the length of dried reeds and tie them up. We can only tied half way at around 7pm or 8pm, all of us were very hungry and really can't continue... So we decided to go out to search food~~ Oops! We can't left all our material at outside right? So we moved all materials to our studio and cleaned up the rubbish and dust around there before go to eat.


After came back from eating, it's around half past nine already. We continue to tie the dried reeds in the studio.Studio can switch on the air conditioner so we wouldn't as hot as evening just now. So! Next time we decide to do all prefabrication in studio next time!! We wouldn't be burned by the strong UV light.


The next day, we tried to set up the dome. It really need all commitment from all members because it is very difficult to set alone...

Finally!!! We succeed... The dome we made is carry able by 3 people and can accommodate 5 people. But we cant bring the dome out from the studio just because of its size...

So we decided to divide the dome into many parts. We set it up on Dome's Day.

Dome's Day

Dome's Day was dropped on 10 Sept 2008. In the early morning we headed to lecturer hall to listen to the briefing.

After that, we go for registration before heading to our site.

Our site is the 18th site. which is so far away from our studio...

So, let's set up together!!

After a week, sir have take a picture on our dome...

Yeah! Still there... our dome's proposed life span is a fortnight, hope it will stay they till a fortnight go...

Many things are sold here such as flowers and dolls which people can buy and hand it to their friends or family who have graduated.



People who are free and willing to have a rest can also do a fish spa therapy...



Parents who brought their children here can let them have a fun here...>>> Mini Disney Land.. A place where children love so much...



A graduated student who study Physics...



A stall where an artist named Aminuddin(Nud's) draw live sketch or sketch in cartoon style..



Graduated student in a group... Are they going for breakfast??



Seeing all graduated students here makes me feel like I'm gonna graduated too... Ha ha.. Still have 3 years to go so far...
